From 2004 until 2016, I voted third party. But though I don't align with the Democratic Party on some issues, I am a fan of democracy. Thus, I have voted Harris-Walz in this election. I will never understand how anyone can believe that fascism will make America great again.

My fondness for Liberation Theology HAS turned me into a socialist, so don't give up hope ;) . Thanks for writing this.

lol. Literally. I DO like socialized things--roads, medicine, schools... But I distrust power too much to be a socialist. : )

Love this! I often feel I’m one of the only ones speaking up and speaking out as a Christian who could not, in good conscience vote for someone who spews an unending vomit of lies and absolute remaking of historical truths, even from a week before! As a children’s book writer and journalist, I, too feel the burden of not hiding so as to not offend. Thank you for this well-penned and brave article. I’m with you and wish more believers would be as bold! (Also, it’s been a while… good to “connect” again!)

Thank you, Caryn. Brave, bold, necessary, and well-said. I keep *thinking* about putting myself out there, but so far haven't had the guts. I will share this though. That I can do.

So good! From social media comments I see, I'm puzzled by how blind some Trump supporters are. It's a bit infuriating. Keep on telling the truth and being brave!
